3 fugitives nabbed in Pampanga
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––A rape suspect hiding in San Simon town for seven years had been arrested under a warrant from a court in Occidental Mindoro province.
The Pampanga police identified the suspect in a statement Tuesday as Jaypee Sampang, 26.
Judge Jose Jacinto Jr. of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro Regional Trial Court Branch 45, issued the arrest warrant against the suspect in June 2014 for the crime of rape with no bail recommended.
The police also arrested Monday Rowena Pangilinan, 42, in San Luis town. Pangilinan had been in hiding for 18 years.
In June 2003, Judge Teresita Diaz-Baldos of the Malolos, Bulacan RTC Branch 17 issued an arrest warrant against Pangilinan for qualified theft with P44,000 recommended bail.
The police also arrested Aldrin Aquino, 35, in San Fernando City after Judge Robert Alexander Razon-Malig of the capital city’s RTC Branch 45 issued a warrant of arrest against him for violation of the Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
