2 die from COVID-19 complications in 2 Pampanga cities

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––One more resident of Angeles City and another in the City of San Fernando have died from COVID-19 complications, the local governments disclosed on Thursday, July 29.

Angeles City’s latest fatality was from Barangay Cuayan, while the person who died in San Fernando was from Barangay Telabastagan.

The Angeles government also recorded seven new COVID-19 patients and 21 recoveries on Thursday. Its active cases stood at 384.

A total of 7,311 COVID-19 cases were logged in the city since the onset of the pandemic last year. Of these, 6,607 had recovered from the disease, while 320 had died.

San Fernando registered 38 new cases and 10 recoveries on Thursday.

It recorded 6,038 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began last year, of which 5,482 have recovered while 196 have died from the disease. INQ
