16 DOT workers in Iloilo contract COVID-19

An official and 15 staff members of the Department of Tourism in Western Visayas (DOT-6) office in Iloilo City have tested positive for COVID-19.

BACOLOD CITY – An official and 15 staff members of the Department of Tourism in Western Visayas (DOT-6) office in Iloilo City have tested positive for SARS CoV2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

The DOT-6 office will remain closed until further notice, a public advisory read.

Although they were asymptomatic, the tourism workers have been isolated.

“Our transacting public can still reach us through the email address posted on the DOT VI Western Visayas Facebook page,” the advisory added.
