9 more police personnel in Central Luzon contract COVID-19

The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Monday (July 19) reported nine additional COVID-19 cases among its personnel.

OLONGAPO CITY–The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Monday (July 19) reported nine additional COVID-19 cases among its personnel.

Based on the data from the PRO3’s health service, the latest infections raised to 96 its active COVID-19 cases.

But the same data showed that two of its personnel had also been cleared of the viral disease, pushing to 1,788 its total number of recoveries out of 1,889 infections.

FEATURED STORIES

This reflected a 94.6-percent recovery rate among infected police personnel in Central Luzon.

PRO3 has not been recording new COVID-19 deaths in the past weeks, keeping its death toll at five.
