PH administers 15M COVID-19 vaccine jabs; 4.7M already fully vaccinated

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has administered 15 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with over 4.7 million persons already fully vaccinated against the disease, Malacañang said Monday.

“As of July 18, 2021, lumampas na po ng 15 million or 15,096,261 ang total vaccines administered ayon national COVID-19 vaccination dashboard. Nasa 4,708,073 ang nakakumpleto na ng dalawang doses,” presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said in an online press briefing.

(As of July 18, 2021, we have surpassed 15 million or reached 15,096,261 total vaccines administered based on the national COVID-19 vaccination dashboard. There are 4,708,073 persons who have completed the two doses.)

The 4.7 million persons fully vaccinated were among the 10.3 million persons who received their first dose of the vaccine.

The country’s highest record of vaccines administered in a day is at more than 391,000. The government is aiming to administer 500,000 doses daily.

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said the government is to fully vaccinate seven million people by the end of July.
