3 Zambales cops test positive for COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Three policemen in this province tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said the police officers are aged 26 to 45 years old and all residents of Botolan town but assigned to Cabangan.

They are among the 13 new cases that the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) recorded among its workforce.

The latest data from the regional police health service shows that 1,822 police personnel had tested positive for the virus since last year, of whom at least 1,765 had recovered.

The regional police’s COVID-19 death toll remained at five.
