Pagasa’s Friday weather forecast: Partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers
MANILA, Philippines — Scattered rain showers and cloudy skies are expected nationwideon Friday due to localized thunderstorms and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.
The state weather bureau said that while a generally fair weather is seen over the Luzon region, there are still high chances of isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are also expected in Visayas and most parts of Mindanao, along with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, Pagasa reported.
Meanwhile, Pagasa said the ITCZ will also affect the Caraga and Davao regions in Mindanao.
Pagasa likewise reported that a low pressure area (LPA) is expected to develop in the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) which will bring rains in the Luzon and Visayas regions over the weekend.

Pagasa earlier reported that around one to three tropical cyclones may enter PAR this month.
