18 more Pinoys abroad die of COVID-19

PH's COVID-19 deaths surpass 22,000 as DOH reports 95 new fatalities

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday received reports of 18 new deaths due to COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad.

This brings to 1,217 the total number of deaths among Filipinos overseas.

On Monday, 174 new cases were reported, bringing the total number of overseas Filipinos infected with the virus to 20,267.

But eight have recovered, the DFA said, raising the number of COVID-19 survivors to 12,085 while 6,965 were still undergoing treatment, it added.
