LTO logs over 1M registrants in its online portal
MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has logged over a million registrants in its new Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) that now allows its clients to conduct their transactions online via portal.lto.gov.ph.
Edgar Galvante, assistant secretary of the LTO, identified Samantha Marie Lagrada of Laguna as the one-millionth registrant of the LTMS, which German technology provider Dermalog built for the LTO.
Galvante said the LTO was now on track to provide online services to clients, such as the processing of drivers’ licenses and vehicle registration.
“The LTMS portal will give online service 24/7, allows transactions anytime and anywhere, is customer-centered, seamless … and paperless,” Galvante said. Clients of the LTO are advised to create their own accounts at the portal to avail of all services.
