Septuagenarian, 5 others succumb to COVID-19 in Tarlac

WATCH: Police officer's ambush in Capas town caught on CCTVMABALACAT CITY, Pampanga –– A 78-year-old man and five others have died of COVID-19 in Tarlac, the provincial government disclosed Thursday, June 10.

The septuagenarian was a resident of Barangay Poblacion 2 in Moncada town.

The other COVID-19 fatalities are a 52-year-old man from Barangay San Sebastian, Tarlac City; a 52-year-old man from Sinense, Anao; a 46-year-old woman from San Juan de Mata, Tarlac City; a 46-year-old male resident of Lapsing village in Moncada; and a 39-year-old woman from Camposanto 1 Sur, Moncada.

As of June 10, Tarlac province recorded 7,512 total COVID-19 cases, of which 1,384 remain active. Of the total, 5,789 have recovered, while 339 have died.
