6 more die of COVID-19 in Angeles City
ANGELES CITY, Pampanga –– Six more people here succumbed to COVID-19, bringing to 276 the number of fatalities since the start of the pandemic last year.
In its bulletin Monday, June 7, the city government said those who died due to the viral disease were villagers of Balibago, Malabanias, Pulungbulu, Pulung Cacutud, Sta. Teresita, and Sto. Domingo.
Balibago, the biggest village here, has the most number of deaths at 24, followed by Cutcut at 21, and Malabanias at 18.
This city also recorded four new cases and 27 recoveries on the same day.
The new cases raised to 6,067 the total number of COVID-19 cases here, of which 5,431 had recovered.
The city government said 4,270 persons under the A1 priority group, 271 under the A2 group, and 413 persons under the A3 group have all been fully vaccinated.
