PNP COVID-19 death toll hits 62

The Philippine National Police lost another policeman to COVID-19, raising the organization’s death toll to 62. The latest fatality was a 48-year-old police lieutenant, who was the deputy chief of a Tarlac municipality police station. The policeman was quarantined after testing positive on May 5 and was rushed to a hospital on May 10 after experiencing difficulty in breathing. He died of pneumonia on May 16.
