PNP logs 118 new COVID-19 cases, 20,509 total infections
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday announced that it has logged 118 new COVID-19 cases that pushed the total number of infections to 20,509.
As of May 2, the PNP added that there are 1,677 active COVID-19 cases while 110 officers have recovered, as the total number of recoveries rose. to 18,776.
No recent COVID – related deaths were reported.

Article continues after this advertisementMeanwhile, the number of COVID-19 infections nationwide jumped to 1,054,983, with 71,472 active cases as of May 2, 2021, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
A total of 966,080 patients have so far recovered while the death toll stands at 17,431 deaths.
