4 nabbed in Lucena drug bust
LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested four drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations here Wednesday, April 28, police said.
Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, reported that anti-illegal drug operatives nabbed Regie Villa, 37, and his associate, Dominick Marquez, 25, after they sold shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in Barangay Marketview at 10:35 a.m.
Authorities seized six sachets of shabu worth P18,360 in the street market.
Another police team collared Reniel Magdangal, 32, and his brother Renson, 27, in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Isabang at 5:25 a.m.
The suspects yielded eight plastic sachets of shabu with a street value of P20,800.
The suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
