WATCH: MMDA starts administering COVID-19 vaccines to its personnel
MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) began on Wednesday the vaccination on its personnel using CoronaVac vaccines from China’s Sinovac BioTech.
MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos told Radyo Inquirer that around eight thousand employees will receive the Sinovac jab and after 4 weeks the second dose will be administered.
He added that the MMDA will follow priority lists A1 to A3 in administering the vaccines.
As of April 14, the MMDA has 771 total COVID-19 cases with 100 active cases and 8 recorded deaths.
