NLEX goes for title

THE NLEX Road Warriors will try to finish off the Freego Jeans today as they duel in Game 2 of the best-of-three finals in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the San Juan Arena.

The Road Warriors routed the Jeans Makers in the opener of their titular series and are expected to easily repeat that in Game 2.

NLEX and Freego Jeans have met twice this conference with the Road Warriors winning by big margins on both occasions.

Freego Jeans coach Leo Austria conceded that his charges are overmatched in this series, and it would take a lot of effort and determination to beat the Road Warriors. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
