LIST: Manila vice mayor, healthcare workers among vaccinees on Day 2 of COVID-19 vaccination
MANILA, Philippines — More healthcare and government officials are expected to roll up their sleeves on Tuesday as the national government began the second day of its Covid-19 vaccination drive using doses of the China-donated Sinovac coronavirus vaccines in major government hospitals in Metro Manila.
Medical frontliners and government officials were vaccinated with Sinovac’s CoronaVac at the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center, Sta. Ana Hospital, Pasig City General Hospital, Taguig-Pateros District Hospital, and Pasay City General Hospital.
The following have received doses of the vaccines on Tuesday:
Sta. Ana Hospital
Manila Vice Mayor Dr. Honey Lacuna
City Health Officer Dr. Arnold Pangan
Sta. Ana Hospital Director Dr. Grace Padilla
Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center
Dr. Rocky Dizon, head of internal medicine
Dr. Emerson Chua, an anesthesiologist
Dr. Flordeliza Grana, a pediatric surgeon
Dr. Alih Bryan Catis, a general surgeon
Over 700 health workers and officials were inoculated during the kick-off of the country’s inoculation drive in several hospitals on Monday.

Among those who already received the donated vaccine doses from China’s Sinovac Biotech were Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) Director Eric Domingo, Vaccine Czar Carlito Galvez Jr., and Testing Czar and NTF Deputy Chief Implementer Sec. Vince Dizon.
