P340K worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Naga City

LEGAZPI CITY –– Anti-narcotics operatives arrested a suspected drug courier and seized about P340,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Naga City on Thursday afternoon.

Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, spokesperson of the Naga City police, said John Lambert Lamigo, 23, a resident of Camaligan town in Camarines Sur, was arrested in Barangay Triangulo at 5:50 p.m. and was caught with a plastic sachet containing 50 grams of shabu.

Lamigo claimed that he was being paid by a still-unnamed supplier to deliver illegal drugs to buyers in Naga City, Bongon said.
