6 HURT IN TALISAY ROAD MISHAP
A MULTICAB ambulance owned by the Carcar city government figured in an accident while transporting a patient in barangay Lawaan I, Talisay City, southern Cebu.
The driver of the ambulance, Cerilo Bustamante, 58, and his five passengers sustained minor injuries.
The patient on board Melodina Bardillo, 38, was to be admitted for hypertension.
Bustamante tried to maneuver to the left lane when the ambulance hit road barriers made of drums. Police said the ambulance was on its way to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City.

Marlon Rivera was found dead by his brother outside their house around 7 p.m. last Thursday.
Police said there were no signs of foul play in the man’s death.
The brother told police that the victim had been suffering from high-blood pressure.
