Magnitude 5.7 earthquake rocks Davao Oriental
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.7 earthquake shook Davao Oriental on Monday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The earthquake struck at 8 a.m. and 211 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental, according to Phivolc’s updated bulletin.

It was felt at Instrumental Intensity II in General Santos City and the municipalities of Alabel and Kiamba in Sarangani and Instrumental Intensity I in Koronadal City.
The tectonic earthquake had a depth of 44 km.
Phivolcs said no aftershocks or damage are expected.
