MANILA, Philippines — The trough or extension of a low-pressure area (LPA) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to the Bicol, Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Davao regions on Monday, according to the state weather bureau.

The LPA was last spotted 580 kilometers east of Davao City, based on the weather forecast issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) at 4 a.m.
