CLARK FREEPORT—All 114 employees of the Clark International Airport Corp. will get free Covid-19 vaccines to protect them from the  viral illness. The state agency announced this in a statement on Sunday as it reported allocating P400,000 in its 2021 budget for the purchase of vaccines for its workers. “In a national scale, the inoculation process is a Herculean task, and so we hope this modest initiative of CIAC helps the government in its continued efforts to fight COVID-19,” Aaron Aquino, CIAC president, said in the statement. He formed a task force that he said should follow guidelines set by the Department of Health on how to obtain and administer the vaccines.

He added that the guidelines should include  approval or an emergency use authorization from the Philippine Food and Drug Administration. For this year, CIAC employees are given four free reverse transcription polymerase chain  reaction or RT-PCR / swab tests.
