Isabela seals deal for 100k doses of AstraZeneca vaccines
CITY OF ILAGAN — Isabela province has secured 100,000 doses of the vaccine against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with British pharmaceutical firm AstraZeneca.
Gov. Rodolfo Albano III on Wednesday said the local government would prioritize the vulnerable and high-risk sectors, including the elderly residents, health workers, police, and teachers.
The agreement with AstraZeneca was finalized with the help of the National Task Force Against COVID-19 and the Department of Health.
Albano said the deal was in line with the national government’s vaccine rollout.
