Borongan City Mayor reserves P35M for COVID-19 vaccines
BORONGAN CITY, Eastern Samar –– Borongan City Mayor Jose Ivan Agda has earmarked P35 million to buy coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines and save his constituents from the deadly virus.
Agda said his priority was to protect the health and well-being of citizens by procuring vaccines that guarantee a high percentage of protection and efficacy.
He said he did his best to allocate funds to protect his people from the virus.
Agda said the vaccine would be injected for free to all bonafide citizens of Borongan, although it is not mandatory.
“I encourage Boronganons to have the vaccine so that no one will be left behind,” he said.
