P40K worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Camarines Sur

LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested three suspected drug personalities and seized P40,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate operations in Camarines Sur on Tuesday night.

Police Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, spokesperson of the Naga City police, said Ely Paminano, 55, was arrested in a search operation in Barangay Sabang at 11:20 p.m.

Recovered were five sachets or 4.4 grams of shabu worth P30,000 and a digital weighing scale.

In Caramoan town, Marc Anthony Cañeso, 41, and Richard Maranan, 45, were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bikal at 11:15 p.m.
