LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested a fish vendor, who is also an alleged drug pusher, in the coastal town of Mauban in Quezon province on Monday.

The Quezon police reported that anti-illegal drug operatives busted Ambrocio Manabat Jr. after he sold P500 worth of shabu or crystal meth to a police agent in Barangay Bagong Bayan around 11:20 p.m.

The suspect, who uses his fish-selling business as a cover for his illegal activity, yielded three plastic sachets of meth worth P3,000 in the street market.

The suspect was detained at the local police jail and is facing charges for violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
