Metro Manila, other Luzon areas to have rains due to easterlies
MANILA, Philippines — Most of Luzon, including Metro Manila will experience cloudy skies and scattered rains due to the easterlies, the weather bureau said on Monday afternoon.
Among these are Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Bicol Region.
In its 5 p.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration advised residents that flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to heavy rains.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains will prevail over Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region brought about by the northeast monsoon.
Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the Visayas and Mindanao.

Northern and Central Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds from east to northeast, coupled with moderate to rough coastal conditions.
Meanwhile, southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds in the east direction, with slight to moderate sea waters.
