KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines—An improvised explosive device went off at the public terminal of Pikit town in North Cotabato at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Nobody was reported injured except for a cat that was hit by shrapnel, according to SPO2 Teng Dimapalao of the Pikit police office.

“The loud explosion, however, frightened residents near the place where the IED went off,” Dimapalao said.

Police were still conducting an investigation to determine who was behind the attack.
