3 ‘meth’ peddlers busted in Lucena
LUCENA CITY — Three alleged shabu (crystal meth) village peddlers were arrested in drug sting operations here Monday.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, reported that anti-narcotics operatives collared Christine Villegas, 40, and her associate, Marlon Oller, 40, after they sold P500 worth of “meth” to a police agent in a transaction in Barangay Domoit at 9 a.m.
Authorities seized five plastic sachets of shabu.
Earlier, another police team nabbed Jerry Ayangco, 29, in another buy-bust operation in Barangay Ibabang Dupay around 7:45 a.m. Ayangco yielded four sachets of meth.
Police tagged Villegas and Ayangco as notorious peddlers of shabu in their respective villages, who are in the police list of identified drug pushers in the city.
The suspects will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
