Engineer robbed of P800K payroll money in Bulacan
SAN ILDEFONSO, Bulacan—A construction firm engineer lost P800,000 payroll money to robbers riding tandem on a motorcycle here on Saturday, police said.
Investigators said Sharmaigne Siapco was on board a car and was heading to the project site of the National Housing Authority when she and her driver were robbed at gunpoint in Barangay Anyatam around 3 p.m.
Police said there were at least five suspects, including the look-out.
Investigators are looking into the angle that the robbery was an “inside job.”
