PNP probes killing of ex-Jolo police chief
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police is looking into the motive behind Saturday’s killing of former Jolo police chief Walter Annayo.
Annayo was relieved from his post for command responsibility after his men and Sulu policemen shot to death four Army intelligence agents at a checkpoint in June.
Brig. Gen. Ildebrandi Usana, spokesperson for the PNP, said the case was “now subject of investigation by police regional office BARMM.”
