Missing man in Camarines Sur found dead in town near Goa

LEGAZPI CITY –– A 36-year-old man, who was reported missing in Goa town in Camarines Sur on Wednesday, was found dead in its neighboring town on Thursday morning.

Gabriel Obias, head of the municipal disaster risk reduction and management office in San Jose town, said Johnny Miraña, a resident of Catagbacan in Goa, was reported missing at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the height of Typhoon Ulysses.

His body was found floating in the waters off Barangay Dolo of San Jose around 8 a.m.

“They live near the creek, which is connected to Rangas River in San Jose,” he said.
