NLEX: 4 road sections not passable due to Ulysses; RFID installation suspended

MANILA, Philippines — Four road sections of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) are now impassable because of Typhoon Ulysses, the NLEX Corporation said.

In an advisory, the NLEX Corp. said the following sections of the NLEX are now impassable:

-Bocaue River Bridge Northbound and Southbound

-Sta Rita Southbound

Motorists as advised to take these alternate routes:

Northbound – all motorists are advised to make a U-turn before Bocaue Interchange going back to Manila

Southbound – all motorists are advised to make a U-turn before Petron Bocaue

Meanwhile, customer service centers and radio frequency identification (RFID) sticker installation sites are closed because of the typhoon, the NLEX Corp. said.

The latest update from state meteorologists said that Ulysses  has weakened as it is about to leave the Luzon landmass.
