COVID-19 death toll in Quezon province rises to 106
LUCENA CITY –– The death toll from coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Quezon province rose to 106 after three more patients died on Wednesday and Thursday.
Records from the Integrated Provincial Health Office as of 10 a.m. of Oct. 29 listed the death of a COVID-19 patient in Lopez town.
On Wednesday afternoon, the IPHO reported that two virus carriers from Tiaong and Atimonan towns have also died.
No other details on the fatalities were provided.
Of the 106 deaths, at least 40 were recorded from Oct. 1 to 29. Lucena City had the highest fatalities with 30.
Quezon, which is under modified general community quarantine until Nov. 30, has recorded 3,580 COVID-19 cases, 969 of which are still active.
