Baby tests positive for COVID-19 in Bohol
TAGBILARAN CITY –– A one-year-old baby tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Bohol.
Gov. Arthur Yap, in a report on Monday night, said the baby was among the two new patients in the province.
In a Facebook post, Dauis Mayor Marietta Tocmo-Sumaylo said the house, where the baby lives in Barangay San Isidro, had been placed on lockdown.
A source said the baby was brought to a hospital after experiencing a fever.
The father of the baby reportedly had an interaction with a driver, who was a COVID-19 patient, from Tubigon town.
Sumaylo asked her constituents to follow minimum health protocols such as the wearing of a face mask and face shield.
Article continues after this advertisementAs of Monday, Bohol has 367 COVID-19 cases, of which 84 were active, 275 recovered, and eight deaths.
