Napolcom to hire 16,149 new police officers
MANILA, Philippines — The National Police Commission (Napolcom) has approved the recruitment of 16,149 new police officers for the Philippine National Police due to reorganization or vacancies.
Napolcom Vice Chair Rogelio Casurao said the commission en banc, through a resolution signed on Aug. 25, has authorized PNP chief Gen. Archie Gamboa “to recruit 10,000 new police officers for the regular recruitment quota and 6,149 new cops for the attrition recruitment quota.”
Casurao said chiefs of PNP offices and members of the screening and selection committee should strictly follow recruitment policies or they would be subjected to administrative sanctions.
