Man rescued after threatening to jump off QC building

MANILA, Philippines – Authorities have rescued a man who threatened to jump off a building in Quezon City Monday, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said.

The report said that rescuers of the Bureau of Fire Protection in Quezon City have successfully brought out the still unidentified man who attempted to jump to his death from the 16th floor of the Victoria Towers at the corner of Panay and Timog Avenue in Quezon City.

The man was rushed to the Capitol Medical Center to be treated for injuries. The report said that a security guard from the building earlier informed authorities that the man had slit his wrists.
