Pasig City General Hospital closes emergency unit temporarily

/ 05:08 AM August 16, 2020

MANILA, Philippines — The emergency unit of Pasig City General Hospital was temporarily closed starting Saturday until Aug. 19 since several health-care workers would need to go on quarantine, Mayor Vico Sotto said on Friday night.

“We are avoiding the closure of emergency rooms (ER) but most of them would have to be placed under quarantine. If the ERs will remain open, their services to patients will be sacrificed,” Sotto said.

For emergencies, residents are advised to call 86430000.
