MANILA, Philippines — Employees and visitors at the Philippine National Police headquarters at Camp Crame in Quezon City will be required to wear face shields aside from the mandatory face mask starting Aug. 17.

PNP spokesperson Police Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac said the “No Face Shield, No Entry” policy would be strictly enforced inside the camp due to rising number of coronavirus cases.

As of Aug. 14, a total of 2,798 policemen have been infected while 13 succumbed to the deadly virus.
