CABANATUAN CITY – A 78-year-old dialysis patient has become Cabanatuan’s third coronavirus disease (COVID-19) fatality, according to an Aug. 14 bulletin from the city information and tourism office.

The woman, a resident of Barangay (village) Sta. Arcadia here, tested positive for the virus on Aug. 12. The patient suffered fever and coughs and had difficulty breathing. She had no travel history.

This developed as four new confirmed cases were reported before the weekend, among them a 30-year-old nurse, and a 31-year-old sales agent who were both subjected to home quarantine at Barangay (village) Daan Sarile.
