/ 04:30 AM August 15, 2020

Philippine National Police chief Police Gen. Archie Gamboa has relieved the 11 Bulacan policemen involved in the killing of six people in a “fabricated” anti-drug operation in February.

“I will not tolerate any wrongdoing in the service. Those accused must be made to answer for their criminal acts,” Gamboa said on Friday.

Murder with kidnapping charges have been filed against former San Jose Del Monte City Drug Enforcement chief Police Maj. Leo Commendador dela Rosa and his subordinates Police Staff Sergeants Benjie Enconado, Jayson Legaspi, Irwin Yuson, Edmund Catubay Jr., Police Cpl. Jay Leoncio, Herbert Hernandez, Raymond Bayan, Raul Malgapo, and Pat. Erwin Sabido and Rusco Madla. —Nestor Corrales
