DOE office in Taguig closed July 23-26 for disinfection
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Energy (DOE) office at the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) Building 5 in Taguig City will be temporarily closed from Thursday to Sunday, July 23 to 26), for disinfection of its premises to avoid COVID-19 transmissions.
The DOE said in an advisory on Wednesday that the affected offices on the fourth floor of the PNOC Building 5 include the Office of the Secretary and other executive offices.
“In this regard, please be advised that the concerned offices […] will be operating under a work from home set-up during said period, and will continue to address your concerns virtually,” the advisory added.
The DOE is just one of the several government offices that moved to close down their physical offices for disinfection as the number of COVID-19 cases continued to rise nationwide.
On Monday, the Office of the Ombudsman in Quezon City and the Department of Foreign Affairs’ Consular Offices in Aseana, Parañanque, and in Manila were also closed for disinfection.
