Office of the Ombudsman in QC closed on Thursday, Friday for disinfection
MANILA, Philippines — The premises of the Office of the Ombudsman in Quezon City will be closed on Thursday and Friday, July 23 and 24, for general cleaning and disinfection as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19.
The disinfection will cover “the work stations and public spaces to ensure the health of all concerned,” the office announced on its Twitter account on Monday.
“Ombudsman clearance applications and the online filing of complaints may be made via www.ombudsman.gov.ph (Key Services). We will resume operations on a skeletal force on 27 July 2020 (Monday),” it added.
This is not the first time that the Office of the Ombudsman will close down due to the coronavirus threat. Last March, at the start of the various levels of community quarantine due to the pandemic, the graft-probing body was closed also.
