CEBU CITY –– The province of Siquijor remains free from the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) although three persons from the island have contracted the virus.

Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, spokesperson of the Department of Health in Central Visayas (DOH-7), said the three patients were admitted in hospitals outside the island but listed Siquijor as their home address.

She said one of the cases was admitted to a hospital in Makati City, one in Pasig City, and the third one in Cebu City.
