P5.4M marijuana bricks dumped in Isabela garden

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Cagayan Valley seized these marijuana bricks that were dumped at a garden in Quezon, Isabela. —PDEA-Region 2

ROXAS, Isabela –– Authorities on Monday seized 42 pieces of marijuana bricks worth P5.4 million at a botanical garden in Quezon town.

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Cagayan Valley acted on a tip from a town councilor and found the contraband in two sacks that were abandoned in Barangay Santos.

Investigators said villagers from nearby Tabuk City could have dumped the marijuana bricks.
