Zambales COVID-19 watch: 4-day clean slate snapped, 2 new cases reported
SAN ANTONIO, ZAMBALES – Two coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases were reported in Zambales after four zero-infection days, local health officials said on Monday.
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said a 30-year-old man from San Marcelino town and a 31-year-old man from Botolan town were the latest to test positive for the virus.
Both of them had travel history to the National Capital Region.
Bueno said the patients are now in stable condition at the President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital.
As of Sunday, the province listed 29 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 26 of whom had recovered while one had died. There are also 147 suspected COVID-19 cases.
