Zambales COVID-19-free for now as 80 suspected cases test negative

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– Eighty suspected cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the province have tested negative based on their confirmatory tests, health authorities here said.

Dr. Noel Bueno, Zambales health director, on Friday said the negative results made the province temporarily free of active COVID-19 cases.

Bueno said the 80 suspected COVID-19 cases, including teachers and locally stranded individuals, were initially ‘reactive’ in rapid diagnostic tests.
