Suspected COVID-19 carrier in Quezon town dies

LUCENA CITY –– A suspected coronavirus disease (COVID-19) carrier in Catanauan, Quezon died on Tuesday, the local government unit (LGU) reported.

In its 1 p.m. bulletin, the LGU disclosed that the “suspect” died from “acute respiratory distress syndrome.”

No added details on the fatality were given.

As of Tuesday afternoon, ten suspected COVID-19 patients have died in the area.

Local authorities are monitoring a suspected virus carrier in a hospital and 14 others in a community isolation facility while another 11 remain under home quarantine.
