MANILA, Philippines — Bars, cafés, and other food establishments in clubhouses may now operate in a limited capacity.

In its Resolution No. 48 made public Tuesday, the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) said restaurants, cafés, and bars in clubhouses can operate at 30 percent operational capacity, provided that the venue capacity allows physical distancing and other protocols imposed to curtail the spread of COVID-19.

These establishments can operate up to 9 p.m. daily and should adhere to the protocols set by the Department of Trade and Industry, the IATF resolution added.

Food establishments and customers are required to observe physical distancing, wearing of face masks and other public health standards imposed to curtail the spread of COVID-19, which has already infected over 30,000 people nationwide.
