DepEd: At least 800,000 students have enrolled in Bicol

LEGAZPI CITY –– A total of 806,671 students have enrolled through online and dropbox in the Bicol region as of Tuesday morning, the Department of Education said.

For kindergarten, 48,359 have enrolled; for elementary, 373,928; for junior high school 261,074; and for senior high school 111,633.

Also enrolled were 3,901 learners with disabilities (non-graded) and 7,776 for Alternative Learning System.

Most of the students enrolled in public schools, with 774,145, while 32,526 were enrolled in private schools.

Mayflor Marie Jumamil, an information officer of DepEd in Bicol, said they were targeting1.6 million enrollees before June 30, the last day of enrollment.
